Topkur is a specialist in Czech spa and wellness stays, primarily catering to German seniors. Over more than twenty years of operation, the company has built a strong market position and has repeatedly been awarded as the best portal for booking spa and wellness stays.
As the company grew, it started to hit the limits of its original system. The outdated and slow platform no longer met the needs of operators or hotel partners. The administration system and extranet operated separately, in different applications with fragmented data. In addition, the booking portal no longer met modern standards in terms of performance or design. The goal was to merge these parts into one cohesive system and bring the portal into a new era.
The biggest obstacle was not the development itself, but what came before it: data migration. Data had to be transferred from several separate applications and consolidated into a single database. We faced a highly complex data structure and workflows full of exceptions, which required thorough analysis and careful planning of every step.

We completely rewrote and merged the administration module for operators with the extranet for hotels. Hotels can now directly manage their accommodation capacities, monitor spa and wellness package settings, and communicate seamlessly with operators throughout the entire booking process. At the same time, we automated the invoicing process with hotel partners, significantly reducing administrative workload. In addition, we created a new visual design and rebuilt the booking portal into a faster and more modern solution.
