Our values

Trust

We trust each other and build on that. Trust gives us the freedom to make decisions, come up with our own ideas, and act fairly toward one another and our clients. Everyone has space to work independently and at the same time knows that open communication is a given here.

  • I’m not afraid to admit a bug – in code or in communication.
  • I’m not afraid to ask for help or to admit a mistake.
  • When something isn’t working, I talk about it early and honestly.

Communication

We speak openly and honestly with each other, even when it’s not always easy. Honesty and timely communication save us time, energy, and unnecessary misunderstandings. Each of us keeps others informed about what’s happening, what’s changing, and where we see potential issues.

  • I speak my mind clearly and with respect.
  • I report problems early, not at the last minute.
  • I actively ask questions when I’m not sure.

Proactivity

We don’t wait for someone to come to us with a task. We look for solutions, bring ideas, and move things forward. Proactivity is one of the key differences between “someone who does the job” and “a partner who helps move the project, the team, and themselves forward”

  • When I see an opportunity for improvement, I speak up.
  • I keep learning new things and don’t stand still.
  • I help clients and the team find the best path forward, not just complete the assignment.

Responsibility

Each of us takes ownership of our work. Responsibility means seeing tasks through to completion, being reliable, and thinking about how our decisions impact the team and our clients. And when something isn’t working? We say it early and openly so we can solve it together.

  • I maintain the quality of my work and test that everything runs as it should.
  • I commit every day, even a small commit is still a commit.
  • I keep learning, try new things, and actively work on my personal development.

Our hiring process

1

Short introductory call

After receiving your application, we’ll either contact you by phone for a short screening call, or we’ll send you a link with available time slots for an online interview (via Google Meet).
We’d appreciate it if you could include a few words about yourself with your application – what caught your interest about 1. Web IT or the role, and why joining us makes sense to you. This will help us better understand whether we’re a good fit both personally and professionally.

2

Online meet – initial HR interview

We’ll talk about your experience and expectations and answer your first questions about the role and about 1. Web IT. We’ll introduce what we do, who we’re looking for, and what matters to us as a team.
The meeting will also include a practical task to help us assess your real skills and to decide together whether it makes sense to move on to the next round.

3

In-person meeting at our office

In the second round, you’ll meet with HR and our CTO or team lead, with whom you could be working on a daily basis. Together, we’ll go through your practical task and introduce you to the specific projects and technologies we work with. We’re not only interested in your technical skills – we also want to see whether we’re a good personal fit and whether the collaboration would work well for both sides. We’ll openly talk about our projects, the way we work, and our company culture. If you’re unable to attend in person, the meeting can exceptionally take place online.

4

Decision and offer

We’ll give you quick and clear feedback. If we’re a good match, we’ll go through the details of the offer and be happy to welcome you to the team!

5

Trial period

The usual length of the trial period is 14 days to one month, depending on the position or project. During the first weeks, you’ll mostly be in the office to get to know the team, the projects, and the way we work.
After onboarding and once we’ve confirmed that everything is working well, we can individually agree on a hybrid mode of cooperation.

FAQ

Yes, most of our internal communication is in Czech. It’s important to be able to communicate clearly and understand assignments.

We prefer working on-site in Prague or Brno. After onboarding, we offer a hybrid work model.

What matters more is your willingness to learn and your approach to work. Technologies can be learned. Proactivity and communication are key.

Depending on the project, you could start right away, within a week, or within a month after the offer. We’re flexible and take your current situation into account.

Do you have questions about the process?

Feel free to contact us even before applying. We’ll be happy to explain everything, answer your questions, and help you with your decision.
