FBF Tech is a company focused on the technical management of buildings and infrastructure. For its clients, it provides inspections, maintenance services, documentation management, and monitoring of technical equipment.
Inspection records were scattered across various files and systems. There was no unified calendar, no automated notifications, and no way to assign responsibilities to specific technicians. Every missed inspection or lost document posed a risk to both the company and its clients. The goal was to create a central monitoring system that would unify the entire process—from planning and record-keeping to document management, automated notifications, and a clear history of interventions.
Buildings are not simple objects—they have complex hierarchical structures that are constantly evolving and expanding. The system needed to respect this structure and allow for flexible growth. In addition, it had to support a wide range of inspection types, disciplines, and their combinations, automatically calculate remaining time until deadlines, track expirations, and ensure a secure and isolated operation of the entire application.

The result of the collaboration is a comprehensive monitoring system, FBF DS, which covers the entire lifecycle of an inspection event. Users can create and edit inspections, including attachments, documentation, disciplines, deadlines, statuses, and assigned personnel—the system automatically tracks deadlines and alerts users to upcoming and overdue inspections.
Building management is handled through an interactive tree of organizations and their components, which clients can freely expand. Scheduled inspections are clearly displayed in a calendar with filtering options by organization or discipline and quick access to event details. The system also logs all activities—logins, logouts, and record changes—significantly improving overall auditability. A new file manager module enables sharing of business documents with a flexible folder structure. The entire solution runs in isolated Docker containers, ensuring secure operation and easy management of future upgrades.
