Realitní Tržnice approached us with the challenge of creating an auction portal to securely and intuitively facilitate the sale and rental of real estate. Our work involved not only developing a new system but also modifying the existing Realitní Tržnice codebase, which was initially a big unknown for us. The project brought many technical challenges that we gradually resolved in close cooperation with the client.

Improving the functionality of the existing platform and designing a new auction solution.

Our task was to take over and analyze the original system written in Node.js. To ensure better management and future development, we created detailed documentation. At the same time, we focused on bug fixes and database optimization, which improved the functionality of the listings. Based on the client’s requirements, we implemented front-end adjustments and ultimately designed and developed a standalone auction portal, which we successfully integrated with Realitní Tržnice.

The main challenge was working with legacy code that often caused unexpected errors and complicated the implementation of new features. After thorough analysis, we decided to keep Realitní Tržnice on the original system and develop the Auction Portal as a separate solution with matching visual style and functionality. Thanks to regular testing and code reviews, we managed to fine-tune existing issues and establish an effective workflow for the further development of the platform.
